An American Marriage Brunch

Today was the last day of the April Efflorescence Book Club!

I enjoyed reading this book with these ladies they were so amazing to talk to! We discussed “An American Marriage” by Tayari Jones in its entirety today! It was soooo good! So many themes and the women in this book are a whole other topic within themselves. It really allowed us to discuss the present plight of both the black man and woman and life period. How life happens and how disease, circumstance, mindsets, behaviors, generational cycles, selflessness and selfishness play major parts in how we operate emotionally, mentally and physically.
